Kisumu town hall meeting

The Town Hall meetings are held on a monthly basis. They’re meant to interrogate issues relating to media performance and press freedom in Kenya.

The meetings bring together editors, county government officials including governors and their executive team, members of county assemblies (MCAs), government officials, journalists, local women and youth groups, religious leaders, academics and scholars, civil society and community-based organisations, politicians, ‘ordinary’ people and others.
