A countrywide training of reporters commences on June 12 ahead of the August 2022 elections. The training is being held in conjunction with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), the Kenya Media Sector Working Group (KMSWG) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Trainers, drawn from the KMSWG, have already undergone a series of sessions and have been equipped to impart knowledge to journalists across the country in the following regions: Press Release countrywide training of journalists 11062022 (1)
