Guided by Article VIII (3) of KEG’s Constitution on meetings, i.e. “The Annual General Meeting of the Guild shall be held every April at a place and time decided upon by the Executive Council, who shall announce their decision not later than three months prior to the date determined” the Executive Council scheduled the AGM and Council elections for April 24, 2021.
This will be the second election of the Executive Council under KEG’s Constitution, which came into effect on December 9, 2018. The current team has been in office since April 2019. ALL seats are up for contest, ALL current officials are eligible to defend their seats or contest for a different seat, and ALL KEG members are eligible to contest. Members in good standing are eligible to vote. Members are encouraged to offer their candidature. Members are also encouraged to come out to exercise their democratic right.
